We are searching for an experienced Warehouse/Production Supervisor to join our team, an opportunity to guide and mentor our teams in the Warehouse and Embroidery section of our business in Midvale, to achieve set targets and goals for the business.

Site Ware Direct has been servicing the Mining, Construction and Oil & Gas industries with safety clothing, PPE and barricading needs since 2004.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the Operations of the Warehouse and Embroidery areas of the business
  • Day to day running of warehousing functions, ensuring quality and productivity standards are achieved.
  • Monitor Operations tools and equipment, identifying and, where necessary, initiate repair and maintenance requirements.
  • Coach and facilitate training for all Operational team members enabling them to develop to their full potential.
  • Actively maintain Health and Safety standards. Maintain inventory layout in warehouse to ensure regular stocktakes are completed.
  • Accurately complete all administration concerning freight documentation.
  • Ensure the work environment is kept in a clean and tidy condition compliant with good work practices.
  • Maintain stock levels and advise reodering requirements.
  • Participate in heavy lifting associated with maintaining the operation of the business.
  • Receivables – process daily
  • Consumables – responsible for ordering all warehouse requirements with cost approvals to be signed off by Operations Manager

This is a busy role with focus on customer service and efficiency and cost controls for the business

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet business needs.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure a continuous supply of necessary stock items.
  • Coordinate with sales to understand their purchasing needs and requirements within the required time frame for our customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and supplier performance.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders, deliveries, or invoices.
  • Stay updated on market trends and advancements in procurement technology and practices
